How the program works

Apply & get approved
Apply online; a recruiter reaches out as soon as possible — usually the same or next day. Your recruiter schedules your DOT physical before class starts.
- Weeks 1–4
CDL school in Haslet, TX
Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM at our training yard. You don't need a permit to start — we help you obtain your Class A permit, and CDL testing is done on site. You're paid $600 during school.
- Graduation
Hired by Raider Express
Complete the 4 weeks and you have guaranteed employment with Raider Express — no contract, no payback.
- Weeks 5–8
On the road with a trainer
You're now a Raider Express employee. Four weeks OTR with a certified driver trainer at $800/week, then you're assigned your own truck.
What it costs you

Do you qualify?
- ✓Minimum Age. The Department of Transportation requires all professional drivers be at least 21 years old.
- ✓Texas Driver License. Must hold a valid Texas driver license. Out-of-state licenses must be transferred before class.
- ✓Background Check. No DUI/DWI, no drug charges, no violent offenses.
- ✓Drug Test & DOT Physical. Must pass a hair follicle drug test, alcohol test, and a DOT physical by an approved doctor.
- ✓Stable Work History. Must have 2 years of verifiable and stable work history.
- ✓Motor Vehicle Record. All motor vehicle records are reviewed to ensure qualification.
