4 weeks of school

CDL school requirements

Meet these and you're ready to apply.

Minimum Age

The Department of Transportation requires all professional drivers be at least 21 years old.

Texas Driver License

Must hold a valid Texas driver license. Out-of-state licenses must be transferred before class.

Background Check

No DUI/DWI, no drug charges, no violent offenses.

Drug Test & DOT Physical

Must pass a hair follicle drug test, alcohol test, and a DOT physical by an approved doctor.

Stable Work History

Must have 2 years of verifiable and stable work history.

Motor Vehicle Record

All motor vehicle records are reviewed to ensure qualification.

Classes start every Monday in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth CDL School is a free CDL school where we help people obtain a Class A CDL who in turn come and drive for our trucking company, Raider Express. How long is the CDL training program?+

4 weeks in school, Monday – Friday 7 AM to 5 PM. Once you complete the 4 weeks, you're hired as a truck driver with Raider Express and complete 4 more weeks on the road with a certified CDL Driver Trainer before driving on your own.
